PRIVACY POLICY OF THE INTERNATIONAL ADVISORY GROUP (IAG)

The respect of privacy is a principle recognized by law, and we are fully aware of the importance it holds for you. By using our Site, you may collect information for yourself or for a third party. You may also send us information of a personal nature. The IAG hopes that, when visiting this Site, you will feel completely secure in this regard. The present privacy policy explains:

You may use the IAG Site without sending us the type of information that would permit to identify you, such as name, address, phone number, e-mail, credit card number, etc. That type of information is consigned in the Personal Information category. No personal information collected by the IAG will be sold to "information brokers" or any other third party.

When submitting your own personal information, the following information may be gathered by the IAG:

- Your phone number,
- On occasion, we may ask you for additional information such as your age, date of birth, sex, level of education, profession, hobbies, and other interests, by way of surveys.
2.4 PERSONAL INFORMATION CONSERVATION TIME LIMIT

The IAG declares that, unless otherwise stated, files containing personal information will not be kept any longer that the length of time required for the completion of their purpose.
2.5 ACCESS, CORRECTION AND WITHDRAWAL OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

You may gain access to your personal information at any time. To do so, contact our Secretariat at secretariat@gic-iag.org and ask to see what information about you has been gathered by our services.
You may ask that your personal information be corrected or withdrawn, without justification on your part.
2.6 USER CONSENT

The IAG will not collect any personal information without prior authorization from the user.

3. PERSONAL INFORMATION SECURITY

3.1 TRANSMISSION

When deciding to transmit personal information, you should be aware on the risks inherent to information transmission through the Internet.
3.2 CONSERVATION

Notwithstanding the preceding, and within the normal technical capabilities of the Internet, the IAG will ensure that your personal information remains confidential. The IAG wishes to protect all personal information in its possession against all loss, improper use, or unauthorized modification.
3.3 RESPECT OF PRIVACY BY THE IAG

All members and employees of the IAG must conform to the present privacy policy.

4. COOKIES

As with most Websites, we collect information on you and your use of the Site by means of "Cookies". These are small programs installed on the hard drives of our users that permit us to calculate the frequency of your visits to our Site, as well as which of our activities interested you. (Ex: Discussion Forums visited, etc.).

This type of information, called "collective information", does not permit us to identify you nor to contact you. In addition, it helps us create dynamic Web pages offering content and advertising especially conceived for you. This information also permits us to establish statistics on the number of visitors to our Site and on the various subject matter consulted by users. 5. VARIOUS CONDITIONS

5.1 MODIFICATIONS

The IAG may at any time modify its Privacy Policy. If such is the case, the IAG must use all proper diligence to notify users.
Moreover, your continued use of the Site after notification of modifications to the present agreement constitutes your agreement to the modified stipulations.

If you disagree with the Charter on the respect of privacy in whole, or with certain of its clauses, or if you should disagree with later possible modifications, you must immediately leave the IAG Site, and most importantly, do not transmit any personal information about yourself.
5.2 EXCLUSIONS

Do not forget that any personal information revealed by you in a Discussion Group or Public Forum is not submitted to this privacy policy and will be accessible to third parties without any links to the IAG, and could be subsequently used for unauthorized purposes.
In the same manner, should you log on to any other site from the IAG Site, any information revealed by you on this site will not be protected by our privacy policy. We invite you to consult the privacy policies of any and all sites you visit.
